Access® For the way people work today
Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) is a growing problem. Over 14% of patients scheduling an eye exam complain of CVS, the complex of eye and vision problems associated with extended computer use. Yet standard eyeglasses aren’t designed for computer use. They often cause wearers to squint or adjust their heads in an effort to see the monitor, keyboard and objects on the desk. This is especially true of presbyopes. Clear vision out to 7 feet* Access® lenses are the ideal solution for computer users. They provide extra-wide nearvision through the bottom of the lens, transitioning to extrawide intermediate vision through the top of the lens*. So wearers get a wide, clear, uninterrupted view of their entire work space – from the keyboard and reading materials in front of them, to the monitor and beyond – up to seven feet* away.
Easy Adaptation The wide visual fields and smooth transition zone of Access® make it easy for patients to adapt quickly. They’ll soon find that the eyestrain, headaches and neck pain often associated with computer use have become virtually obsolete.
Ideal for Presbyopes
Access® lenses are an ideal specialized pair for presbyopes and emerging presbyopes who use computers and wear single vision, progressive, bifocal or even contact lenses. They’re the perfect second pair for delivering workplace vision that works.
* Note: Access® Computer Lenses do not offer a clear view of objects beyond seven feet away. They should never be used while driving or for other activities that require clear distance vision. Mid-range vision will vary depending upon prescription.

Rodenstock Nexyma
Vision at near - and beyond
Reading, working on the computer, handicrafts, DIY, gardening or playing music - in many kinds of work, you want to keep a very close eye on your direct environment. Normal reading glasses are often not sufficient here, since they are only designed for the near range up to around 40 cm.
Rodenstock has therefore developed a more powerful alternative to reading glasses: the near vision lenses Nexyma. These lenses permit larger, sharp vision zones far beyond the reading distance since, unlike lenses for reading glasses, they are designed for the expanded near range from 40 to 80 cm and, unlike progressive lenses, have expanded vision zones exactly in this range. No matter what work you are doing, the vision zones are arranged in the lens so that you have permanent near vision with a comfortable head position. Ideal for the monitor Nexyma near vision lenses are ideal for monitor work: your eyes can move continuously and comfortably between documents, keyboard and monitor. The wide field of vision in the intermediate area provides a good view of the monitor and permits relaxed work.
ZEISS Business
Carl Zeiss, inventor of Gradal RD for superior vision up to ten feet, now proudly introduces the ZEISS Business lens. Designed specifically for viewing computer keyboards, screens, and immediate surroundings in the work area, ZEISS Business revolutionizes the way your patients work.
ZEISS Business brings into focus everything in the near and intermediate ranges, from 14 inches up to 4 feet, eliminating the need to swap out glasses for reading and doing computer work. What’s more, the wide zones of vision are evenly structured, making ZEISS Business extremely comfortable. No longer will your patients have to move their heads around looking for the ”sweet spot” to see the computer screen clearly. And with fitting heights as low as 16mm, this lens accommodates today’s smaller, fashionable frames.
Two Great Options that Get the Job Done The near power is concentrated in the lower third of the lens, and incrementally decreases above for exceptional clarity in the intermediate zone. First-time wearers of reading glasses may need a less dramatic power decrease than more experienced patients, so ZEISS Business is available in two options.
Business 10 | Business 15 | Displays power decrease of 1.00 D For add powers up to 1.75 D Ideal for first time reading glass wearers Also suitable for half eyes | Displays power decrease of 1.50 D For add powers 2.00 D and higher Best for experienced reading glass wearers |
